Pets to Home Program
At Carrington Cottages, we understand that pets are family too. Our Pets to Home Program recognises the struggles faced by individuals experiencing homelessness and their beloved pets.

Honouring Our Heroes
Veteran to Home Program
At Carrington Cottages, we recognise the sacrifices made by our veterans. Our Veteran to Home Program provides transitional accommodation for veterans experiencing homelessness or sleeping rough in South Australia.
Safe and Supportive Environment
Veterans are offered a welcoming space to focus on healing and managing trauma prior to transitioning to their forever home.
Collaborative Support
We work closely with veteran support agencies such as Andrew Russell Veteran Living (ARVL), RSL Care and Open Arms to ensure our veterans have comprehensive care.
Mental Health Support
Open Arms provides mental health assessment, support and counselling services to help veterans and their families navigate through any challenges.

Breaking the Cycle of Reoffending
Prisoner to Home Program
The Prisoner to Home Program at Carrington Cottages is a comprehensive initiative designed to assist individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community. Our goal is to break the cycle of reoffending and support successful reintegration.
End-to-End Support
We identify participants before their release. Post-release, we provide structured support, assisting their return to community whilst helping them to find their forever home and creating positive community connections.
Barrier Elimination
Our program focuses on overcoming key challenges such as health & wellbeing, housing, transportation, education, training, and employment to reduce the risk of reoffending.
Accountability and Communication
Participants are held accountable for their commitment to the program (such as meeting their community correction requirements and engagement with case management), with open and transparent communication ensuring tailored support to address individual needs.
